What is Shamanism?
Shamanism existed 30’000yrs ago and shamans existing 10’000yrs ago because of excavations. Shamanism is an indigenous spiritual practice, it is a word given to the practice of a spiritual practitioner, commonly called a shaman, that believes through experience that all creations from God/Spirit have the same essence from God/Spirit, but with different elemental healing qualities/characteristics which can be accessed by the shaman for healing to be done.
In Shamanism, it is learned to call upon all spirits of nature. Including, but not limited to the air we breathe and the winds of our planet; the waters we drink or that flow over the earth; the fire from the sun that kisses our skin or the fires from stars, volcanoes, and depths below earth; the Earth herself and the plants, animals, rocks, minerals, soils and trees; as well as ancestral, human, and other guiding/ally Spirits.
Shamanic sessions may include prayer, breathwork, meditation, drumming, rattling, chanting/singing, dancing, herb usage, and/or crystal/stone usage among other techniques lead intuitively.
Shamanism & Reiki
What is Reiki?
Reiki – pronounced Ray-key consists of two words, “Rei” meaning God’s wisdom and “Ki” life force energy. In simple it mean’s universal life force energy. And it is a safe, simple, and non-invasive technique that anybody and everybody can benefit from.
Even though this form of energetic spiritual work dates back during and before Jesus Christ’s existence, the technique was rediscovered and understood as a Japanese technique by Mikao Usui in the late 1800s; in which, is administered through “laying of hands,” allowing universal life force energy to be channeled through the spiritual practitioner (known as a Reiki therapist, the instrument/vessel) and typically through the hands onto the recipient, which may it be a person, animal, plant, place, thing or idea.
Reiki is an inflow of energy which aids in the clearing of energy blockages, within the body’s channels connecting the seven vital energy centers (Chakras), permitting a balanced flow of Prana (life force energy)—inwardly, upwardly and outwardly in the recipient, giving a feeling of peace, relaxation, and overall well-being (mentally, physically, and spiritually).
Reiki is broken into three degrees, third degree being “Master level.” First degree consists of self-healing and healing of others (including plants, children, objects, ideas etc.). Second degree amplifies the teachings from first degree by utilization of Reiki symbols and long-distance healing. Third degree is the mastery level where the practitioner learns to use the master symbols and may teach Reiki if they wish.
Reiki is learned and obtained through another Reiki master who passes/attunes/initiates Reiki onto the student. Reiki is administered through “laying of hands,” which follows structured hand placements not to be deviated from, however should be considered as a guide for technique/intuition development.
Shamanic Reiki in light of the One Infinite Creator
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. To anyone thirsting I will give from the spring of the water of life free.”
Neither Shamanism or Reiki are religion based, Shamanic Reiki is spiritually driven by nature. There are many beliefs, philosophies and religions, but there is only One Infinite Creator that allows us to transmute energy. This knowledge empowers the spiritual practitioner to deliver profound healing sessions as a vessel in the light of Spirit.
As an overview, Shamanism existed 30’000yrs ago and shamans existing 10’000yrs ago because of excavations and Reiki was “re-discovered” 100yrs ago, which is administered through “laying of hands” like that of how Jesus Christ did.
There are various names that appoints to God, either name that resonates with you can be used, such as Great Ancient Spirit, One Infinite Creator, Spirit, Universe, Lord, or Father. Personally, I use them all interchangeably, however I use One Infinite Creator and Ancient Spirit more frequent.
In bringing this knowledge and healing traditions, the healing potential is limitless, allowing the spiritual practitioner to merge deeply into their own connection, intuition, and all God's creations with Him in the forefront. Which in turn brings the supporting tools in healing sessions. The spiritual practitioner can then implicate a more “targeted” powerful treatment on the recipient, leading a more intimate and intuitive approach. Through this applied combination, the recipient is actively participating in the session, which gives the recipient the opportunity to take ownership of their whole self (mind, body and spirit).
With the feeling of wholeness, the recipient also leaves empowered due to actively participating in the session rather than the practitioner only channeling energy onto the recipient without active participation.
We, spiritual practitioners, are merely the intermediaries, accessing the spirit world on behalf of others, themselves, past/present/future generations and the Earth in light of Spirit.
We call upon Spirit to guide us and channel through us, so we can accomplish the greatest and only utmost good.
